4. Hank Greenberg, 1B/LF (1930-46)
Although Greenberg missed three seasons due to military service, he garnered MVP votes eight times and won the award twice. He led the AL in homers and RBIs four times, and posted a batting average below .300 just twice. Greenberg, a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 1956, is first in the franchise record books with a 1.028 OPS, fourth with 306 home runs and seventh with 1,200 RBIs.
