Ranking the 10 greatest Los Angeles Angels of all time
5. Vladimir Guerrero, OF (2004-09)
Guerrero had one of the shortest tenures with the Angels among players on this list, but his impact during one of the most successful eras in franchise history is undeniable. The talented outfielder was already an established star when he came over from the Montreal Expos in 2004, but many of his best seasons came in Los Angeles. Guerrero was an eight-time Silver Slugger award winner, including in his first four seasons with the Angels. He had 27 or more home runs in all but his final season in Los Angeles, and produced at least 108 RBIs four times. Overall, Guerrero hit .319 in his Angels tenure with 173 home runs, 616 RBIs, 544 runs and a .927 OPS. The nine-time All-Star and 2004 AL MVP led L.A. to five playoff appearances before being inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2018.
