Ranking the 10 greatest Los Angeles Angels of all time
4. Chuck Finley, LHP (1986-99)
Finley had arguably the greatest impact of any pitcher in franchise history, and he remains the Angels’ all-time wins leader with 165. The southpaw is also one of the longest-tenured players in Angels history, spending 14 seasons with the franchise in the 1980s and 1990s. Overall, Finley produced a 3.72 ERA during his time with Los Angeles with 2,151 strikeouts, the second-most in franchise history. The Louisiana native was a reliable workhorse, leading the American League in starts and innings pitched in 1994 while leading the big leagues with 13 complete games the year prior. Finley made four of his five career All-Star appearances with the Angels and was inducted into the franchise’s Hall of Fame in 2009.
