Top 10 Indiana high school baseball players in Class of 2025
6. Blane Metz, RHP, Floyd Central
Metz is another of the many talented pitchers in the Hoosier State鈥檚 senior class and like many on this list, he could potentially be selected in July鈥檚 MLB draft. As of right now, Metz plans to play college baseball at Indiana where he could join talented in-state seniors like Matthew Fisher and Alex Barr, among others. Metz has been highly impressive at various showcases over the past several months, building on an impressive junior season at Floyd Central where he had many strong performances. The best came early in the season when Metz threw a seven-inning no-hitter while striking out 18 batters. Similar stat lines could be in store for the 6-foot-3, 210-pound righthander this spring as he aims to help the Highlanders build on a 25-win campaign in 2024.

Best individual pitching performance I saw this fall. Starter pitch-mix. Athletic 6-3/210. No doubt 2025 prospect.
