3. Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia is projected to be one of the final eight at-large teams in the field by most bracketologists and should feel pretty good about where it is standing heading into the SEC tournament. The Bulldogs have an important matchup with Vanderbilt to close the regular season but should have an opportunity to further build their resume in the SEC tournament, particularly if they could upset one of the conference鈥檚 eight ranked teams. Despite just a 7-10 conference record, Georgia has had some big wins over Kentucky and Florida, and also beat St. John鈥檚 in non-conference play. The Bulldogs aren鈥檛 dominant offensively, but their defense has been solid under Mike White. Led by young stars Asa Newell and Silas Demary Jr., Georgia will likely reach the tournament and could make some noise as a battle-tested SEC squad.
