10 bubble teams with best chance to reach 2025 NCAA Tournament
5. Arkansas Razorbacks
Arkansas is another SEC team that finds itself squarely on the bubble. Following an 0-5 start in conference play, the Razorbacks looked finished in John Calipari’s first year in Fayetteville. However, Arkansas has picked it up recently, going 7-5 in its last 12 contests with impressive wins at Kentucky, at Vanderbilt and against Missouri. That has boosted the Razorbacks’ resume enough to be back in tournament contention, and a regular-season finale against Mississippi State paired with potential matchups against ranked opponents in the SEC tournament will give the Hogs a chance to button down an at-large bid. Calipari’s squad is relatively inexperienced but loaded with talent as usual, led by Adou Thiero, Boogie Fland and D.J. Wagner. That makes the Razorbacks a potentially dangerous 11 or 12 seed if they can get into the field.
