10 bubble teams with best chance to reach 2025 NCAA Tournament
7. Oklahoma Sooners
It has been a tale of two seasons for Oklahoma in 2024-25. The Sooners began a perfect 13-0 during their non-conference schedule, picking up impressive victories over Arizona, Louisville and Michigan. However, Oklahoma has gone just 5-12 in the stacked SEC, losing seven of its last nine games. Still, the tournament committee often preaches that it bases decisions on an entire body of work, and the non-conference success combined with recent SEC wins over Mississippi State and Missouri could help Oklahoma sneak in. The Sooners’ upcoming matchup at Texas, another SEC team squarely on the bubble, could also determine their fate. Getting out of SEC play could be beneficial for Porter Moser’s squad should it reach the Big Dance, and a talented duo of Jalon Moore and Jeremiah Fears could help the Sooners make noise in March.
