Leaving a program with the rich history that North Carolina has out of the field could be tough, but the Tar Heels are squarely on the bubble, often flipping between the last four in and the first four out in bracket prognostications. The weak ACC doesn鈥檛 help the Tar Heels, but a significant opportunity awaits to close the regular season as UNC will take on Duke in Chapel Hill. The outcome of that game might determine the Tar Heels鈥� fate, barring a deep run in the ACC tournament. North Carolina has failed to pick up signature wins outside of beating UCLA in December, but it is playing its best basketball right now with six straight wins. Even with some inconsistency, the Tar Heels are a team most probably wouldn鈥檛 want to see in their bracket and could push some teams with their strong guard play led by R.J. Davis.
