Top 10 Texas high school baseball players in Class of 2025
9. Taylor Tracey, LHP, Dripping Springs
Dripping Springs is looking to improve on a strong season in 2024 and returns two of the state’s top seniors with Tracey and right-handed pitcher Cooper Rummel. Tracey has been a terrific two-way player for the Tigers in recent years, going 5-0 with a 0.47 ERA in 2023 before winning four more games on the mound as a junior. At the plate, Tracey hit a career-best .402 last season with six home runs, 27 RBIs, 31 runs and a .488 on-base percentage. The 6-foot-6, 195-pound all-state outfielder has a smooth but powerful swing and can also reach the low 90s with his fastball on the mound. His two-way ability gives him significant upside and could make him an eventual star at the collegiate level at Tennessee where he’ll likely play alongside another talented Texas senior, Southlake Carroll pitcher Ethan Baiotto.
6-5, RHH OF Taylor Tracey () showed why he’s emerged as one of the top two-way players in Texas with attention-grabbing power on display in his round of BP at the All-Star Game.
