5. Kellen Moore, New Orleans Saints
Moore was the final hire of this cycle after the Saints had expressed interest in multiple other candidates like Kliff Kingsbury, Joe Brady and Mike McCarthy. Moore鈥檚 upside may not seem as high as some on this list, but he has been impressive as an offensive coordinator in recent seasons and has been a head coach candidate for multiple years. The former Boise State star and Cowboys backup quarterback began his coaching career in Dallas in 2018 and was quickly elevated to the franchise鈥檚 offensive coordinator. Moore excelled in Dallas but fell flat in one season with the Los Angeles Chargers. The 36-year-old rehabbed his value in 2024, leading a strong offense with the Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles while getting a career year out of Saquon Barkley. Turning things around in New Orleans will take time, but Moore could succeed with the right players.
