Top 10 NCAA women鈥檚 basketball All-American candidates in 2025
2. Hannah Hidalgo, Notre Dame
Notre Dame has been one of the best teams in the country through the first few months of the season, going undefeated in ACC play thus far at 17-2 overall. A big reason is the emergence of Hidalgo who has arguably been the best player in the country in 2024-25. The 5-foot-6 sophomore guard is averaging 25.4 points, the second-most in the country. She also shoots 43% from 3-point range and 49% from the field overall. Despite her size, Hidalgo impressively grabs 6.2 rebounds per contest and is arguably the top on-ball defender in the country, averaging 4.2 steals. Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron have also become potential All-American candidates in South Bend, but Hidalgo seems like a lock for the honors once again and makes Notre Dame a dangerous team to play down the stretch.
