Top 10 NCAA women鈥檚 basketball All-American candidates in 2025
1. JuJu Watkins, USC
Watkins emerged on the scene last season as a unanimous first-team All-American and the WBCA Freshman of the Year. Despite a slight dip in scoring this season, she remains poised for another All-American campaign while helping USC to a share of the Big Ten lead thus far. The 6-foot-2 sophomore is averaging 24.8 points, the third-most in the country. While she remains one of the best pure scorers in the nation, Watkins sets herself apart with her ability to impact the game in multiple facets on both ends of the floor, as she is also averaging 6.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.9 blocks. Between Watkins and star forward Kiki Iriafen, USC has a chance to win the Big Ten and reach the Final Four. That, along with increased scoring efficiency, could lead to national player of the year honors for Watkins.
