7. Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma is one of three SEC teams that remain undefeated and the Sooners will immediately have a chance to prove themselves within the conference during an SEC opener at Alabama. Oklahoma has picked up wins against multiple high-major opponents, most notably beating Arizona, Louisville, Oklahoma State and Michigan. The Sooners have blown out several teams, but have also played well in close games thanks to some talented veterans like Duke Miles and Jalon Moore. However, Oklahoma鈥檚 most valuable player to this point has arguably been freshman Jeremiah Fears who averages around 18 points. That鈥檚 part of why Porter Moser鈥檚 squad has thrived offensively, scoring around 83 points per contest. If the Sooners鈥� defense can improve, Oklahoma could make a statement in its first SEC season.
