10 most impactful players for 2024 NCAA volleyball tournament
Madisen Skinner, Texas
Texas hasn’t quite been the same elite group that it was last season when the Longhorns rolled to a national championship, but Jerritt Elliott’s team can’t be counted out, particularly with a talent like Skinner on its side. The 2023 Big 12 Player of the Year, VolleyballMag.com National Player of the Year and Final Four Most Outstanding Player has shined once again in Austin in 2024, putting up 391 points and 348 kills with a solid 4.14 kills per set. Skinner has also added 17 service aces along with 140 digs and 48 blocks defensively. The departure of some Texas’ senior stars last season has impacted the team’s overall numbers and record, but the Longhorns still have enough talent to make a run fueled by their 6-foot-2 senior outside hitter.
