10 most impactful players for 2024 NCAA volleyball tournament
Brooklyn DeLeye, Kentucky
Kentucky enters this year鈥檚 tournament as a No. 3 seed and won the SEC over reigning national champion Texas by one game. The Wildcats are on an 11-match winning streak going into the postseason and are a dangerous team to face. That鈥檚 in large part thanks to senior setter Emma Grome and sophomore outside hitter DeLeye, who was recently named 2024 SEC Player of the Year after earning conference freshman of the year honors last season. DeLeye has posted an impressive 515.5 points this season and is among the nation鈥檚 leaders with 5.43 points per set. Her 4.74 kills per set also rank ninth in the country as she has racked up 450 kills overall. The 6-foot-2 outside hitter is a terrific athlete who could have a significant impact on how things shake out on the left side of the bracket.
