A year ago, Greer paced Archbishop Alter in scoring as it marched to an OHSAA Division II state crown. His future is clear as he begins this go-round.
Greer seriously considered Cincinnati, Penn State, and the NBL, a professional league in Australia, before committing to N.C. State in June.
As a junior, he averaged 16.0 points and 2.3 assists per game in his first year with the Knights. His best effort during that season was a 32-point showing in which he shot 10-for-12 from the floor in a win over Beavercreek.
Greer is listed as a four-star recruit by 247Sports. His father is an associate head coach for the University of Dayton’s men’s hoops team.
