Top 10 Ohio boys basketball players in Class of 2025
1. Dorian Jones, SG, Richmond Heights
Owning a four-star ranking, Jones became the first pledge in Jake Diebler and Ohio State’s 2025 group on July 1. Jones is ranked by Rivals as No. 21 in his class at his position.
After a junior season in which he averaged 14.1 points per game, he was tabbed as a Division IV All-Ohio first-teamer. Richmond Heights won its third consecutive state title in the same grouping. The Spartans are 73-13 in the past three seasons.
Jones also plays for AAU program All-Ohio Red on the Nike EYBL circuit. He was good for 7.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game this past spring.
Jones also collected offers from other Ohio schools Cincinnati, Cleveland State, Dayton, and Toledo. Michigan, Missouri, and Rutgers were his other finalists.
