Top 10 Illinois boys basketball players in Class of 2025
7. Nick Allen, C, Bradley-Bourbonnais
Illinois’ senior class features some talented big men, but Allen stands above the rest figuratively and literally at 6-foot-11, 210 pounds. Allen’s size is a big asset, but he is a good finisher around the rim and also has good footwork down low as a high-volume, post-up scorer inside. Allen provided plenty of offensive firepower for Bradley-Bourbonnais during his junior season, averaging 19 points while putting up some big stat lines like a 27-point effort in the Boilermakers’ midseason upset win over Homewood-Flossmoor. Allen had a double-double in that game and averaged 9.2 rebounds on the season as well. The all-state center’s numbers could grow as a senior before he heads to Normal to play at Illinois State, committing to the Redbirds this past August.
2025 Bradley-Bourbonnais 6’11 Nick Allen left little doubt this weekend at the Riverside-Brookfield Summer Shootout that he is one of top Big Man Prospects in the entire state
