9. John Zook, DE (1966-68)

Zook defensive units in Kansas football. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound edge rusher was known for his intensity and all-out effort. Zook was one of the rare few at KU to claim Consensus (1968) All-American status. He would later enter the Kansas Football Ring of Honor.
