8. Gilbert Brown, DT (1989-92)
Brown made his presence felt on the field. The 6-foot-2, 340-pound tackle wreaked havoc at the line of scrimmage. His efforts were key in turning the team’s fortunes around. As a senior, Brown keyed Kansas to a winning record (8-4) and did his part as they prevailed in the 1992 Aloha Bowl.
