Top 10 Illinois WRs/TEs for 2024 high school football season
2. Brayden Trimble, Sr., Mt. Zion
Trimble is a good athlete with terrific speed which makes him quite a threat at his 6-foot-2, 170-pound size. The talented senior has been used as defensive back and kick returner during his time at Mt. Zion, but his abilities as a wide receiver make him one of the must-see players in the Prairie State this fall. Over the past two seasons, Trimble has racked up over 2,000 receiving yards for the Braves, including 981 yards last year with 69 receptions and 12 touchdowns. Trimble also ran for 178 yards and two additional scores in 2023. The all-state wideout could be in line for another 1,000-yard receiving campaign to cap his high school career before heading to Champaign to play at Illinois where he has the potential to emerge as a valuable offensive weapon for Bret Bielema in short order.
commit Brayden Trimble () with a heck of a catch and run for a touchdown at Memorial Stadium in 7 on 7s.
