1. Talyn Taylor, Sr., Geneva
Taylor sits atop this deep group of pass catchers as the clear-cut No. 1 wideout in Illinois this season. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound wideout is also a top-five player in the state鈥檚 senior class and is ranked as a in the Class of 2025. Taylor鈥檚 high rating stems from his speed, catch radius and route-running ability which have all been on full display at Geneva. As a sophomore in 2022, Taylor posted 51 receptions, 745 yards and eight touchdowns before putting up 32 receptions, 512 yards and six touchdowns last season despite dealing with injury. Taylor should improve upon those numbers with a healthy senior year and will be one of the top pass-catching threats in Illinois throughout the fall. Following his time with the Vikings, Taylor will head off to Georgia, committing to the Bulldogs in June over a host of other Power 4 programs.
