Top 10 Illinois RBs for 2024 high school football season
6. Myles Mitchell, Sr., Richards
Mitchell was an all-conference and all-state performer for Richards High School last season and he is poised for a strong finish to his prep career this fall. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound senior has the ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball as he had 19 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and a pick-six during his junior season. However, he is an electrifying player with the ball in his hands and racked up over 1,800 all-purpose yards and 21 touchdowns in 2023 as well. Mitchell鈥檚 breakaway speed makes him a threat to score from anywhere on the field and that has already been seen early in 2024. Following his final season with the Bulldogs, Mitchell will play college football at the FCS level for North Dakota State, a program that has won nine national championships since 2011.
