8. James Lofton, WR (1975-77)
Lofton stayed under the radar during his sophomore and junior seasons at Stanford and didn鈥檛 make a name for himself until his senior year in 1977 when he caught 53 receptions for 931 yards and 12 touchdowns. Those 12 touchdowns were a Cardinal single-season record for 41 years until JJ Arcega-Whiteside broke it in 2018. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers as the sixth-overall pick in 1978 and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003.聽
