9. John Lynch, QB/S (1989-92)
While Lynch was the backup quarterback his first two seasons at Stanford, once he switched to safety before his junior season, Lynch was outstanding on the field. Lynch recorded four interceptions and a touchdown return, along with 76 tackles, resulting in his selection as a second-team All-American his senior year. Lynch was chosen in the third round of the 1993 NFL Draft by Tampa Bay and was inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame in 2010.
