Ranking each Big Ten starting QB for the 2024 football season
5. Miller Moss, USC
Moss is yet another quarterback on this list who doesn’t have a whole lot of experience with just one career start. However, it’s that start in last year’s Holiday Bowl that has him in the top five. Moss was tremendous against Louisville in place of Caleb Williams who opted out of USC’s bowl game, throwing for 372 yards and six touchdowns while completing 69.7% of his passes. He had a 70.8% completion rate overall in 2023 with a couple of relief appearances in addition to the bowl breakout. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound sophomore from Los Angeles has a talented supporting cast featuring several sophomore wideouts and has a strong offensive mind alongside him with Lincoln Riley. The entire season might not look as pretty as last year’s bowl game, but Moss has a chance to thrive in the Trojans’ first season in the Big Ten.
