10 most impactful players for the 2024 College World Series
Christian Moore, IF Tennessee
Tennessee’s lineup is loaded with starpower which led it to become the top-seeded team in the field this postseason. Despite a brief scare from Evansville, the Volunteers have made it to Omaha and will now look to win their first College World Series title. In order to do so, they will need continued contributions from players like Blake Burke, Billy Amick and perhaps most importantly, Moore. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound infielder has hit .375 this season with 32 home runs, the fourth-most among Division I players. Moore also leads the Vols in RBIs (71), runs (75) and total bases (214) with a .453 on-base percentage and a 1.249 OPS. Moore has already hit four home runs in tournament play, including two in the Vols’ last game, and his power bat will be key down the stretch provided he is healthy.
