Top 10 nominees on 2025 College Football Hall of Fame ballot
Urban Meyer
Meyer is one of the headliners of the 2025 ballot, finally earning the nod thanks to being retired for three full years. His final coaching stint was a disastrous tenure in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but Meyer鈥檚 success at the collegiate level was truly impressive. Meyer worked as an assistant for over a decade before finally getting a chance as a head coach with Bowling Green and later Utah. His success at those stops earned him an opportunity at Florida where he won two national titles in three years with some of the most infamous teams in college football history. After a brief hiatus, Meyer returned to the sideline at Ohio State in 2012, winning another national championship and three Big Ten titles in seven years. Meyer鈥檚 187-32 career record gives him the third-highest winning percentage in college football history.
