Top 10 nominees on 2025 College Football Hall of Fame ballot
Sean Taylor
Taylor’s legacy hasn’t waned since his tragic death in 2007 and being selected into the College Football Hall of Fame would be yet another achievement on an already impressive list of career accolades. Taylor made an impact early as a freshman at Miami as part of the Hurricanes’ 2001 national championship team. He emerged as a second-team All-Big East player with 85 tackles and four interceptions, but it’s the 2003 season that was Taylor’s best. The safety was named Big East Defensive Player of the Year, a unanimous All-American and a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award as he made 77 tackles and 10 interceptions, three of which he returned for touchdowns. Taylor went on to become the fifth overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, leaving a lasting legacy behind at Miami that should soon have him Hall of Fame-bound.
