Top 10 nominees on 2025 College Football Hall of Fame ballot
Mark Ingram
To no surprise, the College Football Hall of Fame is littered with former Heisman Trophy winners and Ingram could be the next to join that group. While Ingram went on to have a strong NFL career that lasted a little over a decade, it鈥檚 what he did at Alabama that many still remember him best for. The 34-year-old amassed 3,324 rushing yards in his three years in Tuscaloosa and sandwiched in between decent freshman and junior years was a sophomore campaign for the ages where he carried the ball 271 times for 1,678 yards and 20 total touchdowns. Ingram helped lead Alabama to its first national championship under Nick Saban that season in a year where the Heisman winner and unanimous first-team All-American became one of the faces of college football.
