10 most impactful players for 2024 Women鈥檚 College World Series
Skylar Wallace, SS, Florida
Wallace is one of the most experienced players in all of Division I college softball and has led the Gators back to the Women鈥檚 College World Series for the second time in the last three seasons. While the 5-foot-10 first-team All-American shortstop鈥檚 numbers are down slightly from an incredible 2023 season, she remains one of the most feared hitters in the country at the plate and is at the heart of a potent Florida lineup that also includes Korbe Otis, Reagan Walsh and SEC Player of the Year Jocelyn Erickson. Wallace has hit .421 this season with 14 home runs and 67 RBIs. She also has a .567 on-base percentage which is fourth in the country and leads the nation with 1.36 runs scored per game. The Gators will need continued contributions from the likes of Erickson and Otis, but Wallace鈥檚 talent and experience are irreplaceable.
