10 most impactful players for 2024 Women’s College World Series
Keagan Rothrock, P, Florida
Some impressive freshman pitchers will be in the circle in Oklahoma City including Texas standout Teagan Kavan and UCLA star Kaitlyn Terry. However, it’s their fellow freshman All-American, Rothrock, who may play the biggest role in how things shake out on the bottom of the Women’s College World Series bracket. Rothrock has been an absolute workhorse for Florida, starting 40 games across 45 appearances while racking up 30 wins – which are tied for the third-most in the country. The 5-foot-10 freshman from Indiana also has a strong 2.43 ERA in addition to a 1.11 WHIP, .205 opponent average and 186 strikeouts. She has already racked up four wins in six postseason games while allowing just eight runs, and how she handles the pressure of college softball’s biggest stage will be key for the Gators.
