10 most impactful players for 2024 Women’s College World Series
Jayda Coleman, OF, Oklahoma
Multiple standouts from the Sooners’ lineup and pitching staff could be mentioned on this list, but ultimately, Coleman feels like the main catalyst to Oklahoma winning a fourth consecutive national championship. The 5-foot-9 senior leader has been tremendous once again as a unanimous first-team All-Big 12 selection and a first-team All-American, hitting .394 in a stacked Oklahoma lineup. Her .532 on-base percentage leads the Sooners and ranks 11th in the country, while her 1.15 runs scored per game rank No. 6 in the nation. Coleman has also hit 12 home runs to pair with 42 RBIs this season and has struck out just seven times. She already has seven hits in the postseason and has scored in each of Oklahoma’s five tournament games thus far as she looks to end her illustrious career with four rings.
