A.J. Hoggard enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
Villanova Wildcats
The Kyle Neptune era at Villanova has been relatively disappointing thus far with back-to-back seasons where the Wildcats finished at or near .500 and lost in the first round of the NIT. Neptune and Wildcats will look to get back toward the top of the Big East next season, but they will need to add more pieces to do so. Several of Villanova’s key players from this past season are out of eligibility including Justin Moore, Hakim Hart and Tyler Burton, while second-leading scorer TJ Bamba and guard Brendan Hausen are transferring. That leaves some holes within the Wildcats’ roster, particularly in their backcourt. Hoggard, who grew up just an hour away from Philadelphia, could be a potential target for the Wildcats as a scorer and solid defender similar to Moore and Bamba.
