A.J. Hoggard enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
Ole Miss Rebels
Ole Miss has momentum under Chris Beard following a 20-win season where the Rebels got off to a 13-0 start. Despite a disappointing end to the year, Beard has retooled the Rebels’ roster to the point where they are beginning to look like an early SEC contender headed into next season. Beard has added several frontcourt players including Dre Davis, Malik Dea, Mikeal Brown-Jones and Davon Barnes. Ole Miss also made a recent splash by adding guard Sean Pedulla, but one more addition in the backcourt could be possible, particularly if Matthew Murrell departs. While it was under a different regime, Hoggard had an interest in playing at Ole Miss out of high school. He is the type of guard who would fit well in Beard’s defensive-minded system and could also reunite with former high school teammate Jaemyn Brakefield in Oxford.
