A.J. Hoggard enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
Kentucky Wildcats
Kentucky has typically endured a fair amount of roster turnover from season to season in recent years, but the Wildcats have seen more drastic changes this offseason with John Calipari leaving for Arkansas. Mark Pope has begun the rebuild in Lexington and the opportunity to add another experienced, winning guard like Hoggard could be hard to pass up. In recent days, Pope has added transfers Amari Williams, Otega Oweh, Andrew Carr and Lamont Butler Jr., the latter of whom is also a veteran point guard with Final Four experience from his time at San Diego State. Hoggard could pair well in the backcourt with Butler Jr. just as he did with Tyson Walker at Michigan State and would provide reliability and stability on both ends of the floor for Pope.
