Jordan Pope enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
UCLA
The Bruins have an advantage over many other programs in potentially wooing Pope to their program. Not only is the school a prestigious one in the guard鈥檚 native California, but it also has one of his former high school teammates on the roster. UCLA center Adem Bona spent his final two high school seasons on Pope鈥檚 Prolific Prep team and the two graduated together so the connection is deep. If Bona returns, helping convince his high school running mate to join him on the Bruins would be huge, especially for a team in need of shooting help.
This move would provide a lot of benefits for Pope from Bona to joining a Big Ten program to potential NIL profitability and returning to his home state. The only flaw is that UCLA is coming off of a down year which may cause Pope to look at other options.
