Jordan Pope enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
USC
Another Los Angeles-based program, the Trojans need guard help. With Boogie Ellis and Isaiah Collier set to leave and Kobe Johnson and Bronny James entering the transfer portal, the USC backcourt looks significantly weaker than last year. If Pope wants to return to California and play for a noteworthy program set to join a bigger conference, the Trojans would provide that.
There are a lot of questions for USC right now, however, namely who will be coaching the team. After Andy Enfield left for SMU, the Trojans are still searching for a new head coach and are coming off of a mediocre season. If Pope doesn鈥檛 mesh well with the new leadership or doesn鈥檛 feel confident with the direction of the program, he could look elsewhere despite the benefits USC could provide him.
