Eric Dailey Jr. transferring: 5 possible landing spots
TCU Horned Frogs
TCU has been on a nice run under Jamie Dixon with three straight 20-win seasons that have ended with NCAA Tournament appearances. Playing for a winning Big 12 program is likely intriguing for any transfer athlete, but for Dailey Jr., it would have some additional meaning. Dailey Jr.’s father, Eric Sr., played college basketball at TCU while his mom, Shelly, spent three years as head coach of the Horned Frogs’ women’s basketball program. TCU recruited Eric Jr. out of high school and he could look to add to the family legacy with the Horned Frogs should Dixon show interest again. TCU will need frontcourt depth with the expected losses of Emanuel Miller, Chuck O’Bannon, Jr., Xavier Cork and JaKobe Coles, the latter of whom just entered the transfer portal. Dailey Jr. would provide a young replacement with a lot of upside.
