Eric Dailey Jr. transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Florida Gators
Dailey Jr. grew up in the Sunshine State and was recruited by several in-state schools during high school including Florida, Florida State and Miami. All three of those schools could be options for Dailey Jr. in the portal, but an SEC opportunity at Florida might be hard to pass up. The Gators are going in the right direction under second-year head coach Todd Golden who led the program back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in three seasons this year. He did so with multiple transfers in the lineup, so utilizing the portal again this offseason is likely. Florida could use more depth inside which was evident in its NCAA Tournament game against Colorado after losing center Micah Handlogten to injury. With 6-foot-10 forward Tyrese Samuel out of eligibility, Dailey Jr. could be a nice replacement and a prime target this offseason for Golden.
