Top 10 players from the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament
6. Great Osobor, F, Utah State
Osobor was recently named the Mountain West Player of the Year and helped lead Utah State to a regular-season conference title. The junior forward from England transferred to the Aggies from Montana State last offseason and has been a revelation for Danny Sprinkle, averaging 18 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 58.3% from the field. Osobor doesn鈥檛 have much of an outside game, but he is crafty in the post and has a keen ability to draw fouls as he shoots over eight free throws per contest. Osobor has also been terrific on the defensive end for Utah State, averaging 1.5 blocks and 1.3 steals. Osobor is a name that not a lot of people know right now, but he certainly could make noise in the tournament with a couple of big games.
