Top 10 players from the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament
7. N鈥橣aly Dante, C, Oregon
Oregon had to win the Pac-12 Tournament to reach this point, but the Ducks enter the NCAA Tournament as a dangerous No. 11 seed under head coach Dana Altman. One of the big reasons why is the return of their fifth-year forward, Dante, who missed about two months of the season due to injury. With Dante back in the lineup, Oregon has become more formidable as he has put together five 20-point games and seven double-doubles since late January. Overall, Dante averages 16.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists while shooting an impressive 70.2% from the field as a physical presence down low. The 6-foot-11 senior is also tremendous on the defensive end for the Ducks, averaging 1.9 blocks and 1.7 steals. His two-way ability makes him one of the most skilled players in the tournament this year.
