Top 10 players from the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament
5. Dylan Disu, F, Texas
Disu and beloved March Madness star Max Abmas are both worthy of a spot on this list, but the 6-foot-9 senior forward gets the nod as he has been tremendous down the stretch for Texas. After missing nine games early in the year, Disu returned to form as a first-team All-Big 12 player, averaging 15.8 points, five rebounds and 1.6 assists. His improvement has coincided with some tremendously efficient numbers as he shoots 49.4% overall from the field, 50% from 3-point range and over 81% from the free-throw line. Although he鈥檚 a bit undersized, Disu plays big and physical in the paint on the defensive end as well, and is a strong shot blocker who also grabs 1.2 steals per game. Disu had a big tournament last year for the Longhorns and will be a key cog for a deep postseason run again.
