Dug McDaniel enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard

Another team that recruited McDaniel out of high school, the Huskies are a championship-caliber program that should definitely interest the guard. With star guards Tristen Newton and Cam Spencer set to graduate, UConn has two major holes in the starting lineup. The Huskies should take a look at McDaniel given his experience and success at the high-major level and previous relationship with the coaching staff.
For McDaniel, he would be able to join one of the nation鈥檚 top programs and one that is much more stable than the one he is leaving. With the opportunity to eventually play for championships, McDaniel would be hard pressed to find a better landing spot than UConn.
