Dug McDaniel enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard

The Demon Deacons were also in on McDaniel coming out of high school and they too may need help at the guard position. Star guard Hunter Sallis may enter the NBA draft and Wake Forest lost depth guard Damari Monsanto to the transfer portal.
For McDaniel, while Wake Forest didn鈥檛 make the NCAA Tournament, they are a No. 1 seed in the NIT, showing how talented the squad is. With Sallis potentially moving on, McDaniel could join the Demon Deacons and help the team maintain its success next season. Perhaps with other key additions alongside McDaniel, Wake Forest could make the tournament field next March.
