Penn State may be interested in McDaniel again. New head coach Mike Rhoades actually offered McDaniel a scholarship when he was head coach at VCU, so the two have a connection.
For McDaniel, this would keep him in the Big Ten where he has found success while also moving him closer to his hometown of Washington. While the Nittany Lions have a strong group of guards, they鈥檙e likely always interested in adding even more talent in the backcourt. With the previous ties to Rhoades and the Penn State program, McDaniel may be interested in joining the team.
