Dug McDaniel enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard

McDaniel was recruited heavily by Penn State and then-head coach Micah Shrewsberry when coming out of high school. While Shrewsberry has moved on to Notre Dame, his team could use some offensive firepower like McDaniel.
The Fighting Irish have an incredibly young roster with only three seniors and four juniors on the roster this past season. With only two players scoring in double digits, Notre Dame could also use some help in the playmaking department. Given his previous relationship with Shrewsberry and the opportunity to join a young program, perhaps McDaniel would be interested in becoming the offensive centerpiece for a Fighting Irish team hoping to take a step forward in their second season under the head coach.
