Dug McDaniel enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (BVM) 鈥� Following the firing of Michigan head coach Juwan Howard, one of the Wolverines鈥� star players has entered the transfer portal. Sophomore guard Dug McDaniel entered the portal on Monday after averaging 16.3 points, 4.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds across 26 games, all starts.

While the season was a strong one on the court for McDaniel, he didn鈥檛 have the best campaign off of it. In January, McDaniel was suspended for six road games due to academic performance. Though he continued to perform well for the Wolverines in games, this is without a doubt a black mark on the guard鈥檚 time in Ann Arbor.

Given his status as a former unanimous top-100 recruit and his strong play in the Big Ten Conference, expect many programs to be interested in the guard. With that in mind, here are five landing spots for McDaniel.
