Ranking the Pac-12鈥檚 best basketball players at midway point
2. Caleb Love, G, Arizona
Arizona has hit a slight rough patch over the past month-and-a-half following a tremendous start to the season that led it to be ranked No. 1 in the country. A big reason for the hot start, and the Wildcats still holding the Pac-12 lead at the conference season鈥檚 midway point, is the play of their transfer guard. Love has been as advertised in Tucson, averaging 19.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals. His shooting numbers could be more efficient, but they have improved overall from his time at North Carolina as he is shooting at a 45% clip from the field and nearly 35% from 3-point range. Love can be an absolute game changer when he gets hot and the 6-foot-4 guard鈥檚 big-game experience will help Arizona down the home stretch of the season.
