Ranking the Pac-12’s best basketball players at midway point
3. Keion Brooks Jr., F, Washington
Washington hasn’t received a lot of attention this season with a record that has generally hovered just over .500, but the Huskies have one of the best players in the entire country on their side. Brooks Jr. is a dynamic scorer who is tied for the conference lead in scoring with 20.6 points per contest, which is a top-25 average in the entire nation. The 6-foot-7 senior is also the Huskies’ leading rebounder as he grabs seven boards per game while shooting 50.2% from the field and over 40% from 3-point range. Brooks has become a star in Seattle since transferring from Kentucky two years ago and could be in contention for the Pac-12 Player of the Year award in a little over a month.
